Sachin Tendulkar shakes a leg to 'Naatu-Naatu' with Ramcharan and Akshay Kumar
The celebrities marked their presence at the opening ceremony of Indian Street Premier League.
The star-studded opening ceremony of the first edition of the Indian Street Premier League was held at The Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, Mumbai on Wednesday, March 6. The event was lit up by several stars of the movie industry namely Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Suriya, and Ramcharan among others.
Legendary India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also marked his presence at the event and was spotted doing the famous ‘Naatu-Naatu’ step during the ceremony. Tendulkar was accompanied by Boman Irani, Akshay Kumar, Ramcharan and Suriya as they attempted the famous step of the song from the movie RRR which also won the prestigious Oscar award for Best Original Song.

The opening game of the tournament is being played between Khiladi XI captained by Akshay Kumar and Master’s XI captained by Sachin Tendulkar. Both teams were full of several celebrities and prominent cricket players such as Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Robin Uthappa, and Suresh Raina among others.
Sachin Tendulkar opened alongside para cricketer Amir Hussain
In a heartfelt gesture, Tendulkar opened the innings alongside para-cricketer Amir Hussain whom he recently met during his trip to Jammu & Kashmir. The legendary batter even presented him with a bat signed by him to further fuel his cricket aspirations.

Tendulkar and Amir opened the innings for Masters XI as they faced the first over by Akshay Kumar. Tendulkar even smacked Kumar for a gigantic six down the ground in the first over itself sending the fans into a frenzy. Hussain also rotated the strike beautifully alongside his idol and added crucial runs for his side.
