Sanju Samson forgets Tanush Kotian's name at toss during PBKS vs RR clash

Rajasthan Royals took on Punjab Kings in Match 27 of the Indian Premier League 2024. While at the toss, RR captain Sanju Samson became a cause of laughter. Sanju won the toss and decided to bowl first. But, as he announced two changes in the squad, he forgot to mention the name of Tanush Kotian. He later recalled and shared the name. 

RR stepped into the game with two major setbacks. Their star batter, Jos Buttler, who seemed to have hit form was out as he was not at his fittest. Another setback came in the form of Ravichandran Ashwin. The veteran spinner has carried a niggle and missed out on action against PBKS.

"We'll bowl first, it looks like a decent wicket to bowl first. We've made a target to not think about the goal, focus on the process, work on building the team and we're doing well. A lot of challenges outside as well, we've many players missing from tonight's game. 90% of the game was good - Jos isn't 100%, Ash bhai is having a niggle, so Rovman and Tanush Kotian come into the XI," said Samson at the toss as quoted by Cricbuzz.
