The emergence of the USA Cricket Team is a story that has caught the attention of the cricketing world. The board co-hosted the latest edition of the T20 World Cup in June 2024 and their team delivered notable performances with stars like Saurabh Netravalkar, Monank Patel, and Harmeet Singh being the standout performers.

The team might not be one of the top contenders in international cricket right now but there were still some iconic performances. Some of the major examples include beating Pakistan in the T20 World Cup and Bangladesh in a T20I series. The coach who was at the helm of affairs was Stuart Law. However, the Australian was sacked with allegations of racial discrimination towards Indian-origin players. Several reports indicated that USA skipper Monank Patel, Harmeet Singh, and Milind Kumar faced issues with Law while he was coaching the team. Some reports even indicated that Law was trying to turn the other players against Patel as well.

Law has now turned to LinkedIn to look for coaching opportunities.

“Hi everyone! I’m seeking a new role and would appreciate your support. I’m looking for Cricket Coach roles. If you hear of any opportunities or just want to catch up, please send me a message or comment below. I’d love to reconnect," Law posted on the professional networking site.

Apart from the USA team, Law has coached Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies, and Afghanistan with considerable amount of success. As a player, he was a part of the Australian squad in the 1996 World Cup in which the team finished as the runners-up. He played one Test and 54 ODI matches for Australia, scoring one hundred and eight half-centuries across formats.
