T20 World Cup 2022: Scotland Squad, Schedule, & Schedule PDF Download

Scotland have won just one of the last four T20I bilateral series that they participated in. Additionally, since the last T20 World Cup, Scotland have only played a two-match T20I series against New Zealand and haven’t played any other T20I series.

Thus, their form and fitness is something that’s pretty much unknown to the rest of the world. Nevertheless, the team will compete hard and fight for a place in the Super 12 of the T20 World Cup 2022.

In the First Round of the competition, Scotland will challenge the West Indies, Ireland and Zimbabwe as all the matches will be played at Bellerive Oval in Hobart. Their first match of the T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to take place on October 17 while the other two matches will be played on October 19 and October 21 respectively.

As only two teams will qualify from the First Round, Scotland will have to walk an extra mile to be able to go all the way. 

However, before the mega tournament begins, Richard Berrington and his group of men will play a couple of warm-up games against the Netherlands and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Melbourne. In these two matches, the team management is likely to rotate the squad to find the best possible combination before the multi-nation tournament.

The 31-year-old Chris Greaves will be an important player for Scotland in Australia. He looked in good form against New Zealand and so did Goerge Munsey. Munsey, the opener has made quite a name for himself in the recent past and will be an exciting candidate to look out for in the global event.

Their bowling looks slightly inexperienced as the team hasn’t played a lot in the last year but that comes as a challenge for any other European team other than England.
