The T20 World Cup is just around the corner and the excitement for the mega competition has been increasing over the past few days. Twenty of the best cricketing nations will be competing for the ultimate prize of the T20I format from the 1st of June.

Some youngsters will be looking to make their mark on this massive stage but some players who have played at this stage before would be looking to capitalise on yet another opportunity. All the teams have some of the most valuable cricket players and today we'll be looking at the top ten most valuable cricketers who will be competing in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Here are the top 10 most valuable cricketers at the T20 World Cup 2024:

The West Indies all-rounder is considered one of the biggest assets for whichever team he plays for in T20s. His power-hitting ability combined with his game awareness can help the side in setting high totals and chasing down mammoth targets for the team. He can also contribute with the ball since he has a lot of variations up his sleeve and is excellent in the field as well. The Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder is the X factor that can change the tide of the match within a few overs.

The Sri Lankan captain has become a crucial part of the national team over the past couple of years. His performances in the Lanka Premier League indicate that he is the best player to lead the country in a mega competition. The spinner was known for his variations but has been improving his batting ability as well over the past year. He has promoted himself on a number of occasions in T20s and that move has worked well for the team, so it would not be a surprise if the bowling all-rounder comes early into the innings.
