Former Pakistan cricketer Wasim Akram recently came forward and participated in a rapid-fire interview where he was asked to pick between the IPL (Indian Premier League) and the PSL (Pakistan Super League).

The 57-year-old opined that there is no comparison between the two franchise cricket tournaments as the IPL is huge in world cricket, but also went on to state that the PSL is also quite big in Pakistan.

“I have worked in both; you cannot compare the two tournaments. IPL is huge and the PSL is huge in Pakistan as well, no doubt, it is like the mini-IPL of Pakistan,” said Akram in a video by Sportskeeda.

In the interview, Akram chose between various options that were presented to him like Texting or Calling, Mountains or Beaches, and many more options were presented to the former Pakistan pacer.

I will pick up Australia: Wasim Akram

As a part of the same interview, Akram was also asked whether he would like to be Pakistan’s head coach or Australia’s head coach. After some thinking the 57-year-old chose Australia as his preferred destination and opined that due to less pressure, he would be able to do the job properly.

“I will pick up Australia, not because of my wife but because there would be less pressure there and I will be able to do my job,” Akram said.

Furthermore, Akram was also asked to pick between ace batters Virat Kohli and Babar Azam, and he was quick to choose Kohli, and opined that while Babar is one of the modern-day greats, Kohli is on a different level.

“Babar is one of the modern greats of the game but Kohli has written his name in golden words in the history of the sport,” Akram said.
