Sophie Devine extended her contract with Perth Scorchers for two more years.
Perth Scorchers have managed to take the New Zealand all-rounder Sophie Devine for two more years. She will continue to be seen in Scorchers' jersey for two more years. Perth Scorchers retained Devine in the player draft last year. She has scored 489 runs with 14 wickets after being named in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) team.
"Winning the WBBL|07 title in front of our fans at Optus Stadium will always be a special memory for me, and something the whole group is incredibly motivated to achieve."

Not only she is one of the world's best all-rounders but she is only two wickets short of completing hundred wickets in WBBL. Sophie expressed her excitement at signing a two-year deal with the Perth Scorchers and calling it a 'no-brainer.' She will always treasure the memory of leading the team to its first title win in the 2021-2022 season.
The Perth Scorchers have also extended support to Mikayla Hinkley from Brisbane Heat while Alana King has extended her contract with the team for three more seasons.
