Test cricket is considered the greatest and the most respected format of the game. Since the introduction of the World Test Championship in 2019, Indian fans have got a special liking for the format as India have managed to reach back-to-back finals of the WTC. Despite not winning the elusive trophy in two attempts, several Indian cricketers have earned a fortune by playing the longest format of the game in 2023.

Notably, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja are some of the top earners from the team in the longest format. Kohli, Rohit and Jadeja have earned over 1 crore playing in Tests in 2023. Additionally, the trio also falls under the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) A+ category under which they get INR 7 crore annually.

Rohit Sharma has revived his Test career ever since he began opening in the longest format since 2019. The Indian skipper has given some memorable starts to the side both at home and overseas. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja has also sealed his place in the side with his all-around performances in the past few years.

The southpaw scored a magnificent hundred in England in 2022 and further stamped his authority as a reliable lower-order batter. Courtesy of his marvellous performances, he ranks on the top of the ICC Test all-rounder rankings.

With their incomes soaring every year, these cricketers are also spotted sporting some expensive accessories both on and off the field. Recently, Kohli was seen wearing Beats Powerbeats Pro TWS earbuds in the West Indies which cost around $249.95 (roughly ₹20,000) in Apple's official US store.

Jasprit Bumrah to make his comeback in August

Meanwhile, the other cricketer who falls under the A+ category is speedster Jasprit Bumrah who has unfortunately missed out on all the cricketing action since September 2022 due to a back stress fracture. The 29-year-old has recently completed his rehabilitation and will be seen making a return to the team in the upcoming three-match T20I series starting from Friday, August 18.
