Why Teja Nidamanuru is not playing T20 World Cup 2024 Match 27 between Bangladesh vs Netherlands?
Batting at number seven in the last game, Teja failed to create an impact as he was dismissed for a duck.
Bangladesh took on Netherlands in Match 27 of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Arnos Vale Ground in Kingstown on June 13. Netherlands won the toss and opted to bowl first. They made one significant change to their playing XI as they brought in Aryan Dutt in place of Teja Nidamanuru. On the other hand, Bangladesh have fielded their unchanged playing XI for the game.
Teja had a disappointing outing against South Africa in the last game. Batting at number seven, he failed to create an impact as he was dismissed for a duck. Netherlands have Aryan to add to their bowling arsenal and the spinner was effective for the team in the World Cup 2023 in India. The Kingstown pitch promises to assist spinners and the Dutch have taken a bold step to go with an extra bowler.
“We are gonna have a bowl first. Not too many international games have been played here recently. Our boys are looking forward to it, we have been playing some good cricket. Aryan Dutt is in for Teja,” said Edwards at the toss.
“I don't mind batting first. Looks a good wicket. With the new ball, we have to be careful. Rishad is very exciting, luckily we have got a leggie. Hope he continues his form. No changes, same XI,” said Shanto at the toss.
