Women's Ashes 2023: Where to Watch, Schedule, Squads, and All you need to know
The iconic series will commence with the one-off Test at Trent Bridge, beginning on June 22.
While all the talk has been about Ben Stokes' rampaging England's clash against arch-rivals Australia, the women's team are also set to reignite their rivalry with Australia with a historic Women's Ashes. The iconic series will commence with the one-off Test at the Trent Bridge, beginning on June 22.
It is worth noting that this is the first time both teams will participate in a five-day Test, unlike a four-day affair previously, which was the usual theme in the series over the years. The fact that the women's Ashes will run concurrently with their counterparts for the first time in history has also piqued the interest of the fans.
The Nottingham Test will be followed by a three-match T20I series before a three-match ODI series to conclude the Ashes. The upcoming series is of utmost importance for both sides, especially Australia, who will be without their iconic skipper Meg Lanning. With more than 70,000 tickets already sold for the series, a record, fans are eagerly waiting for the resumption of the coveted rivalry.
