The India and Pakistan cricket battles are always the most intense cricket battles for not only the players but also it's fans. In the most epic encounter, Pakistan's skipper, Bismah Mahroof elected to bat first on a tricky surface. Although, skipper's brave decision to bat first did not turned out in the favor as 'Women in Green' lost Javeria Khan early. Her stay was cut short by Deepti Sharma.

Thereafter, skipper Bismah maroof along with Ayesha Naseem, led from the front as they stitched a much-needed partnership and steadied the ship. Maroof scored a crucial half century (68 off 55) while Ayesha produced a brisk innings (43 off 25) with an emphatic strike rate of 172. Their vital stand helped Pakistan to a fighting total of 149/4 on the board.

Meanwhile, in response to the run chase Indian openers started well but lost their first wicket in the sixth over with 38 runs on the board. Interestingly enough, as the innings progressed, something happened in the ongoing Women's T20 World Cup match, which didn't go down well with the cricket fans.

In the ongoing clash between India and Pakistan women, an interesting incident took place. During the Eighth over of pakistan's bowling, Nida Dar, unknowingly went on to ball the seventh delivery, which left the cricket fans baffled and fumed. Moreover, what got fans stumped was the fact that her seventh ball cost a boundary in favor of India.

It will be interesting to see how Umpires will justify this incident, if the speculation turns out to be true ahead. At the moment, despite a good start from India, Pakistan have pulled back the match by taking big wickets of Shafali Verma and Indian skipper, Harmanpreet kaur. Albeit, the swashbuckling batter, Jemimah rodrigues is currently holding one fort at one end with a well-composed innings (38 off 32) so far with India needing 19 runs in 15 balls to win this thrilling contest.
