Chahal's got a bag of tricks: Rob Keogh
The India spinner was included in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad but did not get to play a single game. However, right after the event, he joined Northamptonshire and claimed a fifer against Kent in the Royal One Day Cup. His fellow teammate and spinner Rob Keogh quipped that the team calls the veteran a magician.

"We call him the magician. He's got a bag of tricks. Luckily it was too cold for him to get all his tricks out. So he said he just stuck to the flipper a few times and that got him a few wickets. Obviously, everyone knows what he can do, including the opposition. They are expecting him to bowl big turners and he pulls out the flipper," said Keogh as quoted by India Today.
Chahal was looked over for the white-ball tour to Sri Lanka in July-August. He was not named in the squad for the first Test against Bangladesh in the ongoing series. However, he will aim to make a comeback in the T20I series against Bangladesh and replicate his golden form with the ball.
