Mustafizur Rahman was great for SRH in his debut season. The left-arm pacer was the emerging player of the season and helped SRH to win the title with his brilliant bowling. Along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, he formed a great bowling duo, especially at the death. In total, the Bangladesh pacer played 17 matches for the Orange Army and claimed as many wickets. He averaged 26.76 with the ball and had an economy of 7.15 with best match figure of 3/16.

Rahman was a part of DC in the last few seasons. The star pacer played 10 matches for the 2020 finalists. In as many innings, Rahman claimed 9 wickets at a bowling average of 35.89, at a bowling strike rate of 26.00, at an economy of 8.28. His best match figure for DC was 3/18. He happens to be one of those players who played for both DC and SRH but is representing neither of them in the ongoing season. Mustafizur was picked by CSK in the IPL auction 2024.
