South Africa vs Pakistan Match Preview, 2nd T20I
Pakistan will be aiming to bounce back after the slim loss they endured in the series opener.
South Africa is all set to lock horns with Pakistan in the second T20I of the three-match series at the SuperSport Park, Centurion on December 13, 2024.
The series opener turned out to be quite a close game at the end of it all. David Miller and George Linde's power-packed knocks ensured the Proteas ended up with 183 on the board. Linde followed up his efforts with the ball to secure a four-wicket haul at a frugal economy rate.
Despite Mohammed Rizwan's 74, Pakistan fell short by 11 runs. Rizwan, who was on 36 off 44 at one point, accelerated in the latter half of his innings. The 23 extras conceded by the hosts did make the game a lot more close than it actually should have been.
However, the Men in Green would aim to make a comeback in the upcoming clash to level the series, while the Proteas would want to seal the deal with a win in the second game as well.
