West Indies vs Bangladesh Match Preview, 1st Test
West Indies are set to face Bangladesh in the first Test of the two-match series, starting Friday, November 22.
The two-match Test series between West Indies and Bangladesh gets underway with the first game beginning on Friday, November 22, at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua.
The hosts are coming into this clash on the back of a disappointing 0-1 series defeat against South Africa. Kraigg Brathwaite and his men drew the first game at Port of Spain. The second Test at Providence saw a result come out in the favour of the Proteas as they won the game by 40 runs.
On the other hand, Bangladesh haven't had much to celebrate from their past few games. After suffering a 0-2 series defeat at the hands of the mighty Indians, Bangladesh then hosted South Africa for a two-match Test series in October. In the first Test, South Africa defeated the side by seven wickets. Furthermore, the visitors convincingly defeated the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side by an innings and 273 runs. With both sides coming into this fixture with a series loss, they will be looking for redemption.
