India's performance in the last match

India kept up their dominant performance in the tournament with another comprehensive victory over New Zealand. India were in trouble early at 30/3, but Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel took over proceedings starting cautiously but making sure India were on solid ground throughout the middle overs. Hardik Pandya played another cameo towards the end, but Matt Henry's fifer kept India to what looked like a below par 249.

India started the innings at their stifling best against New Zealand who found it tough to get going on the slow track. In the middle overs, India's spinners stifled the life out of the chase and kept putting the pressure on the middle order. Kane Williamson stood at one end, but the pressure of an ever-increasing asking rate got the better of him. Varun Chakravarthy then ended it all with his own fifer to give India their third win in three group stage matches in the tournament.

Australia's performance in the last match

Australia's last game was against Afghanistan and ended in a no-result. The rest of Afghanistan's batting largely faltered, but Sediqullah Atal at the top and Azmatullah Omarzai at the death led Afghanistan to what looked like a competitive 273. Australia and Travis Head, seemingly not in the mood to waste any time, went hammer and tongs at the target. Australia were in the 13th over of their innings when the rain started pouring to deem the game a no-result.
