IPL 2023 Match 19, KKR vs SRH Stats Preview: Players records and approaching milestones

Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will lock horns in Match 19 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday, 14 April at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Knight Riders lost the first match against Punjab Kings and bounced back with two consecutive victories against Royal Challengers Bangalore and defending champions Gujarat Titans. 

With four points and a net run rate of 1.375, they are placed in third position in the table. Venkatesh Iyer came in as an impact player and has played some very good cricket so far, aggregating 120 runs in as many as three games at an average of 40. In the bowling department, Sunil Narine has picked six wickets in three games. KKR might as well bring Jason Roy into the combination to strengthen the top-order and carry the winning momentum. 

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad had a poor start in IPL 2023. SRH suffered two consecutive losses against Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants. But thanks to Mayank Markande's terrific bowling spell of 4/15 against PBKS, followed by Rahul Tripathi (74*) and skipper-Aiden Markram's (37*) batting show, SRH managed to bag a victory. With two points and a net run rate of -1.502, they are placed at the ninth position of the table and They would also now look to continue the winning run
