Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) square off against Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 30 of IPL 2023 on April 22 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
LSG started their campaign in style as they have won four games and lost just two. Their losses have come against four-time winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Punjab Kings (PBKS). With eight points and a positive net run rate of 0.709, they are placed in second in the table. On the other hand, reigning champions GT have played five matches with three wins and two losses, including one against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) courtesy of Rinku Singh’s unbelievable knock.
With six points and an NRR of +0.192, Hardik Pandya’s side is placed in the fourth spot in the table. As mentioned above, GT won the title in their debut season in 2022 while KL Rahul’s LSG also made it to the playoffs only to lose the Eliminator against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
