Ireland will host India in a three-match T20I series starting on August 18 at The Village in Dublin. The second and third T20I will take place on August 20 and 23 at the same venue.

Jasprit Bumrah has been declared fit and will be leading the young Indian team, as most of the players have been rested in order to manage the workload before the mega events. India will try different combinations to prepare for Asian Games and the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Ireland will be heading into the home series on the back of two different events, losing the World Cup spot in the  ODI World Cup Qualifier held in Zimbabwe in June and another one, ensuring their spot in 20-team T20 World Cup 2024. They finished second in the European T20 Qualifier held in Scotland, eventually confirming their place with Scotland (host).
