Australia sealed their sixth ODI World Cup trophy.
In a dominant performance in Ahmedabad, Australia won their sixth title by six wickets against one of the best teams of the tournament, India, in the final match of the World Cup. The victory was powered by a brilliant bowling performance from Mitchell Starc, who took crucial wickets, supported by a very good spell from Pat Cummins. In the batting department, Travis Head scored a century, and Marnus Labuschagne added a slow-steady half-century, helping to seal the match by six wickets.
