7. West Indies, Maroon – Dominance:
The color maroon signifies bravery. It is formed as an emergence from red-brown which is associated towards dedication for the soil. West Indies is not a country but a group of island nations playing for the same soil. They love and respect West Indian cricket the same way like they love their countries. Maroon is also linked with dominance. This was evident as the West Indies once ruled the world of cricket. The West Indies won 1975, 1979 World Cups and also made it to the finals of the 1983 World Cup. The West Indian pace attack boasted of tall pacers like Malcolm Marshall, Ian Bishop, Michael Holding, Courtney Walsh and many more who simply dominated the batsmen.
