Team India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has started a new inning in his life after tying the knot with Dhanashree Verma on December 22. Just like their engagement, the love birds managed to keep their wedding news a secret too. Chahal and Dhanashree got married in Gurugram on Tuesday. The love birds married in a Hindu ceremony at the Karma Lake resort.

Later, both of them took to their respective social media profiles to give the news to their fans. They posted adorable pictures from the wedding as the fans wished them on their new journey. Both Chahal and his wife used the same captions for their respective Instagram posts, announcing their marriage, writing, “22.12.20. We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”.

Chahal and Dhanashree have been one of the most loved couples on social media since they surprised the fans by announcing their engagement in August. Usually, the fans make remain updated about a cricketer’s life in this cricket-obsessed nation but Chahal and Dhanashree had managed to keep their relationship secret.

But since announcing their engagement, they were spotted together several times before they finally tied the knot on Tuesday. Earlier this year, Dhanashree went to the UAE during IPL 2020 and cheered for her husband from the stands. Just like Chahal, Dhanashree is multi-talented too. According to her Instagram bio, she is ‘Doctor, Choreographer, YouTuber, and the founder of Dhanashree Verma Company’ and has 2.5 million followers.

Twitter and Instagram have been flooded with congratulatory messages ever since Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma announced the news of their wedding on Tuesday. Not only the fans but the stars from the cricketing fraternity were also quick to congratulate the newlyweds too. India opener Shikhar Dhawan led the wishes, writing, “Congratulations @yuzi_chahal23 and @dhanashree9 , wish you a Happy married life together.”

The opener also posted a picture of himself with the couple from the wedding.
