Twitter today was alive and kicking with tweets coming in from all parts of the world. The day began with the commencement of the South Africa v Australia Day-Night game at the Adelaide Oval. As it happens always, the match was not just a match but a grand event in itself. Charlotte Edwards was happy to be at this venue for the second time. Shane Warne and his mates Michael Clarke and others were having a great time in the commentary box. The Australian bowlers meanwhile were having a party in the middle but had Faf du Plessis crash into the happy time with a fabulous batting display.

A lot happened on the other side of the world as well. Mahela Jayawardana was having a team dinner where almost all of hi teammates were busy on their phones. Sanath Jayasuriya came across the video the five-year-old Rudra and was quite astonished by it. Harbhajan Singh was in a disgusting mood after watching policemen thrash an army man. Shahid Afridi was grateful to the Pakistan Army for their support and thanked general Raheel Sharif to inaugurate his stadium.
