The cricketing trends on social media revolved around the various events even as the world continued to worry about the ongoing pandemic. England players returned to individual training this week and the players are feeling delighted for finally getting back on the field after a big break. Ben Stokes posted a video of his bowling on Instagram. England are likely to resume their international cricket with a series against West Indies and Pakistan soon.
India Women’s head coach WV Raman turned 55 on Saturday and wishes flooded in for him on social media platforms. India Women’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur took to Twitter to wish her coach and also hoped that he has a wonderful year. Vinod Kambli and Shikha Pandey were the other cricketers among many to wish Raman on his special day.
Pakistan and the world was in for a shock on Friday after Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crashed in Karachi just before landing. Reportedly, around 107 people have lost their lives and cricketers across the world including Pakistan players paid their tribute for the victims of the crash.
