Cricketing trends in social media today saw tweets coming from all around the globe. The tweets were mostly centric towards the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 2017 edition of the IPL got underway with the Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the season opener at Hyderabad.
