Jos Buttler has shot to prominence in the English side with his aggressive batting in the lower order. He can finish games from crunch situations with plenty of pinch-hitting to offer. His strike rate this year has been close to 130 which proves what an asset he has been for England throughout the year.

Boasting of a terrific average of 57.30, Buttler has had an aggregate of 573 runs this year. He has also donned the wicketkeeping responsibilities of England quite well. Very few batsmen in the world at the moment can be as destructive as him and that surely calls for a spot at No.5 in the best XI.
