Asia, the largest continent in the world has given many amazing cricketers to the World Cricket. So far, six T20 World Cups have been concluded and out of them, three were won by the Asian Nations. So Asia has always been a major part of the cash-rich T20 format. Currently, Asian countries are one of the most powerful teams in T20 cricket and now even countries like Afghanistan are emerging teams in the T20 format. So let’s take a look at- Best Asian XI in the T20 format of the game 1. Rohit Sharma (C) Rohit Sharma. His quick 30 runs in the final were very crucial for India’s win. He scored a joint-fastest century in T20I in 2017, which naturally brings him into Asia’s best XI. He is the second-highest six-hitter in T20I after Martin Guptill. He is someone who takes his time on the crease and once he gets settled, it’s very difficult for the opponents to stop him. He is the captain of this side, because of his enormous achievements as a skipper in the IPL. So Rohit Sharma is the complete package to be in the Asia XI in the T20 format. 2. Babar Azam Babar Azam. It’s his stats that make him an obvious choice as an opener in the eleven. Currently, he is one of the best T20 batsmen in the world. He held the 1st rank for the ICC T20 rankings for the best batsmen for a long time, but Dawid Malan took his spot later. He plays very well against pace and spin. As Rohit needs some time to get settled on the crease, Babar as an aggressive batsman is perfect to be his partner. Babar is a batsman with a good temperament which makes him a responsible person to be in the team. After his performances against Zimbabwe, he grabbed the 10th spot in the ICC T20 Batting Rankings. His skill set of diving to catch the ball and considering his recent form makes him an obvious choice as a wicketkeeper-batsman in this team. 5. Shakib Al Hasan Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib is one of the best all-rounders in the world. The Bangladeshi legend can do great contributions with his bat and ball. He can bring his team out of a tough situation, can bat well in the middle order, and can get wickets when needed. Shakib showed what he is capable of in World Cup 2019. Over the years, Afghanistan has grown in a great way in the cricketing world and players like Rashid Khan and Nabi have played a significant role in this journey.
