Dejected Hardik Pandya not keen on signing autographs and posing for selfies with the fans
Kohli has already said that the team doesn't support Rahul and Pandya for their comments.
Hardik Pandya is on the verge of getting banned by the BCCI for his ‘cringeworthy’ comments on the talk show Koffee with Karan. The episode featuring him and KL Rahul in the show was aired on Sunday and soon they were lashed out for their usage of words and a lot has happened after that. With the Indian board set to ban at least Pandya as he was the one who opened up the most and got ‘carried away’ with the nature of the show.
Even the skipper Virat Kohli made it clear that, as a team, they do not support the cricketers for what they’ve done and are awaiting BCCI’s decision ahead of the first ODI against Australia. Meanwhile, there are also reports of Pandya apologising to MS Dhoni, the senior most cricketer in the team, and the head coach Ravi Shastri for his wrongdoings.
Hardik ignores the fans
There will definitely be a dent in his confidence at the moment. Hardik Pandya, on his way to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) didn’t even look at the fans who were waiting to get autographs and selfies from the cricketers. He kept a safe distance from them and went straight into the nets keeping his head down as well. Normally, he likes to stay in the limelight which he himself admitted in Koffee with Karan.

In the meantime, as per reports surfacing in the media, KL Rahul might just escape the ban as he didn’t open up much on the show hosted by the prominent Bollywood personality Karan Johar. Rahul did reveal about partying until late night before the first T20I against the Windies in Miami but Pandya’s comments were serious. Rahul is likely to be reprimanded but nothing is confirmed as of now. It also remains to be seen if this incident affects Pandya’s game in any way.
