‘Do It Yourself’ – Suresh Raina thanks wife Priyanka for cutting his hair
He couldn't have found a way to get a barber in the lockdown period.
Suresh Raina, the veteran Indian batsman, is currently busy spending time with his family at his residence. India is currently under a 21-day lockdown and all the players are staying at home as a part of a precautionary method to counter the wrath of coronavirus. Raina is isn’t any different either. During his stay indoors, the southpaw was facing a major issue.
His hair had grown long and he was in dire need of a barber. But due to the country lockdown in place, he couldn’t have afforded to find one. It’s a problem faced by a number of people in the situation of crisis. Nevertheless, the experienced Raina didn’t throw in the towel and decided to cut his own hair. He also took his wife Priyanka’s help to accomplish the same.
Later, he posted a picture of his trimmed hair where was also sporting a trimmed beard. Raina didn’t miss out on thanking his better half for all the assistance. He took to Twitter and wrote, “I could not wait any longer thanks for helping me @_PriyankaCRaina #haircut #doityourself.”

Happy times for Suresh Raina
The left-hander has had a lot to celebrate of late. Recently, her wife gave birth to a baby boy on March 23. The duo already has a daughter by the name of Gracia. Raina keeps on posting adorable pictures with his family. On a number of times, Raina has expressed gratitude for a happy family.
As far as Raina’s career is concerned, it has been in a bit of shambles of late. He last played a competitive match in the 2019 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). His last match for the Chennai Super Kings was against the Mumbai Indians in the final of the cash-rich T20 tournament.
Raina used to be a fulcrum of Team India in the ODI and T20I format, but he has gone out of the selector’s radar. He last donned the national jersey when the Men in Blue toured England back in July 2018. However, Raina remains to be one of the top run scorers in the history of the IPL.
