'Don't worry, I am inside the crease' - Jos Buttler responds in a hilarious fashion to Ravi Ashwin
Buttler also said that he is looking forward to sharing a dressing room with Ashwin.
Jos Buttler and Ravichandran Ashwin will share the same dressing room in IPL 2022. While Buttler was retained by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) ahead of the mega auction, Ashwin was bought by the Royals for a sum of INR 5 Crore.
Now, both Buttler and Ashwin have a bit of history. In the 2019 edition of the IPL, Buttler had backed up too far, and Ashwin, who was bowling had run the batter out. Well, this had caught a lot of attention back then, when Ashwin chose to dismiss Buttler in this controversial fashion. After being picked by the Royals, Ashwin had said that he is eager to share the RR dressing room with Buttler.
And now, Buttler has a message for Ashwin. The England cricketer stated that he will stay inside the crease, and asked the veteran Indian off-spinner not to worry. Buttler concluded by stating that he is looking forward to sharing a dressing room with Ashwin.
“Hey Ash, Jos here. Don’t worry, I am inside the crease. Can’t wait to see you in pink for the Royals. Look forward to sharing a dressing room with you. Halla Bol,” said Buttler in a video released by the Rajasthan Royals (RR) on their official Twitter handle.
