Dwayne Bravo performs at the IIFA
This year New York is hosting Bollywood's most prestigious award - International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2017.
The West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has not donned the Caribbean team’s colours for a while now. He last played the T20 series against Pakistan last year in the UAE. He also missed this year’s IPL due to an injury that he picked up while playing in the Big Bash League.
This year New York is hosting Bollywood’s most prestigious award – International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2017. All the Bollywood celebrities and many big names are in the town for the biggest event in Indian cinema. It will be the 18th IIFA awards, which will be hosted by famous director, producer Karan Johar and actor Saif Ali Khan who is the son of late Indian skipper Tiger Pataudi.

Dwayne Bravo has had a good time off the cricket field. His song “Champion” which was released last year became a bigger hit after his team won the World T20 2016 in India. Bravo was also one of the performers in the IIFA. He performed at the event on his “Champion song” with standup comedians Mallika Dua and Abish Mathews.
The all-rounder was looking very stylish in his dapper grey-coloured coat with a black T-shirt. The West Indian had a great time with the Bollywood celebrities at the big night in NY. He was last seen shaking a leg in the popular Indian TV reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa”. He also appeared at “The Kapil Sharma’s Show” last year.
Cricketing records
Dwayne Bravo was not part of the West Indies team that took on India in the recently concluded series. He has played 164 ODIs in which he has scored 2968 runs and also picked up 199 wickets. DJ has also played 66 T20I games and scored 1142 runs and has also claimed 52 wickets. Bravo was the captain of the West Indies team when they were involved in a dispute with their board which resulted in them opting to boycott the tour of India mid-way.
