Cricket is like a religion in India. Every fan knows almost every detail of the players who play for the national team. From their background to what they are up to in their professional and personal lives. Modern-day cricket fans are not just followers of the game but like to be in touch with the cricketers off the field as well while doing that they also make sure to buy products of the brands that their favorite cricketer endorses.

But seldom do we get access to their academic details. Here we bring to you the educational qualifications of some of the top Indian cricketers.

1. Ajinkya Rahane:

Ajinkya Rahane the consistent, calm and composed cricketer from Mumbai known for reliability in all forms of the game. Rahane is one of the most technically sound batsmen in the Indian team at the moment and has not just found success in the sub-continent but has relished his chances of playing in tougher conditions like in England and Australia. Ajinkya has done his bachelors in Commerce from a university in Mumbai.

2. Ravichandran Ashwin:

Over the years, Ravichandran Ashwin has emerged as the ace spinner in the country. Ashwin rose to fame with his T20 performances but has developed his game to be a successful bowler in the longest version of the game as well. He was without a doubt the go-to spinner of Indian skipper MS Dhoni. As far as his qualification is concerned Ravi Ashwin has done his B.Tech from Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of Engineering Chennai.
