5. Suresh Raina:

Suresh Raina was a consistent middle order batsman for India for some time before announcing his retirement. The southpaw has numerous IPL records to his name as well- one among which is being the first batsman to score 3000 runs. He just had finished his 12th when he decided to pursue his career in cricket. Raina shifted to Lucknow to attend the specialist government Sports College. He then completed his B.com graduation with correspondence from Delhi University.

6. MS Dhoni:

The maestro behind the stumps, M S Dhoni has mesmerized fans around the world with his batting, wicketkeeping and captaincy skills. Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers and finishers of all time. He first studied at the DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir where he was keenly interested in football and badminton. He then went on to St. Xavier’s College of Ranchi but dropped out as he was attracted to the game of cricket and he started making a name for himself here. Dhoni was keen to complete his graduation but due to his cricketing commitments couldn’t appear for final exams. Following team Indian’s victorious campaign in the World Cup 2011 Sr. Xavier’s decided to give him an honorary degree.
