Australia Women cricketer Ellyse Perry is one of the most popular faces of the women’s cricket. She has been the mainstay of the Australian eves for quite some time now. Also, the Australian side has emerged as one of the most dominant teams in the international women’s cricket. They continued their dominion during their recent tour of India.

Australia Women toured India for an ODI series and a T20I tri-series, that involved England Women as the third participating team. As the results panned out, the Australian eves won the ODI series and then went on to lift the title in the T20I tri-series as well. The three match ODI series kicked off on March 12 in Baroda. Prior to the ODI series, the Australian team played two practice games as well and won both the matches convincingly.

They continued their good run in the ODI series and whitewashed the Indian side 3-0. Coming to the T20Is, they started their campaign with a 6 wicket win over India Women. In the next game, the England Women beat them by 8 wickets. The Aussie eves came back strong from the defeat and won their remaining fixtures of the tour, including the 57 run win over England Women in the finals of the tri-series.

The tour was a very successful one for the Australian side and Ellyse Perry was one of the top performers for the team on the tour. She took to micro blogging site Twitter to congratulate the team on their efforts. Also, she praised India for the lovely hospitality. She even tweeted in Hindi, wherein she wrote, “Thank you India. Will meet again. Goodbye”.

Here is what Ellyse Perry tweeted:

“The end of a fantastic tour and it was lovely to finish with a win in the T20 tri series. The cricket has been really competitive and we had a huge amount of fun off the field as well. India is always an incredible experience. धन्यवाद भारत, फिर मिलेंगे, अल्विदा । #IncredibleIndia,” Ellyse Perry wrote in her tweet.
