ENG vs IND: English crowd troll Virat Kohli after Team India exhausts all reviews on Day 4

India came up against England on day four of the opening Test and tried to push momentum towards the visiting side where Joe Root became the biggest hindrance. Virat Kohli and his men were not perfect with the ball today and the skipper especially drew some attention for an unwanted happening. While England batted for their second innings, India exhausted all their reviews that went in vain.

As India exhausted all their reviews, they were not able to use them afterward when they actually felt that they had a chance for success. As Kohli stood on the field clueless, the English crowd left no stone unturned to troll the visiting skipper. The crowd made gestures that are made when a review is taken by a particular team.

One of the reviews was lost by them when English skipper Joe Root stood like a solid rock on the crease and had 97 runs in his account. Siraj convinced Kohli to take the review and the skipper gave in but the impact was outside and the team lost all their reviews. Talking about the game, India grabbed a 95-run lead against England in the first innings until English batters showed up. In turn, they added some good runs and now India needs 203 runs (at the time of writing) to get the match in their favour.

Talking about Kohli in the first innings, he was dismissed by James Anderson on the very first ball as fans went on to praise magical Anderson for his sheer class. Meanwhile, Anderson became the third-highest wicket-taker in Tests, surpassing Anil Kumble’s record.

“I think he definitely loves the game. It must be really nice to be at the top of the mark knowing ‘if I am on here I am gonna cause this batsman problems’, almost on any wicket. I think James Anderson can probably play county cricket until he is 50. His control of length and nibbling it around, on any nibbling wicket he is unplayable,” stated former English skipper Alastair Cook on James Anderson.
