England made a resounding comeback in the ongoing Test series against India in Headingley, Leeds after being 0-1 down in the series. Joe Root and his men defeated India by an innings and 76 runs. The match ended on day four after India resumed the day at 215 for 2 but were bowled out for 278, losing their eight wickets for 63 runs in the morning session.
However, as the crowds left the stadium and the England team was done celebrating, some of the players were still seen on the ground. James Anderson, Joe Root, Jos Buttler were seen with kids playing at one corner of the Headingley ground. England’s bowling coach Jon Lewis and head Chris Silverwood were also seen in the video.
James Anderson gets frustrated, but only jokingly this time
The video of the incident was uploaded on Twitter by George Dobell. He put up the video in which a kid can be seen driving Anderson as the ball went past through covers. The tweet indicated that all the people in the video were the family members of the English cricketers and support staff who were also present at the scene.
The tweet read, “James Anderson – with 630 Test wickets – looks on in mock frustration (I THINK it’s mock) as his cover fielder let’s one through. Root, Buttler, Silverwood, and Jon Lewis (plus assorted family members) also involved.”

The win would mean a lot to the English Test team who have been going through a tough time in recent months. This win was their first after seven Tests. Their last win was in the first Test in Chennai against India in a four-match Test series which was played earlier this year in India. Since then, they had lost four matches to India, one to New Zealand, and drawn one each against the two teams.
With the series level at 1-1, the action will now shift to the Oval in London, where the two teams will meet for the fourth Test. The match is set to begin on September 2. After the fourth Test, the final match will be played at Old Trafford in Manchester from September 10 to 14.
