India skipper Rohit Sharma did a net session ahead of the white-ball matches against the home team England. To note, the right-handed batter recently tested negative for Covid-19 and got out of the isolation. Rohit was to lead the Indian squad in the ongoing Test match against England but the star batter had to miss the match after suffering from the virus.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on June 4 (Monday) posted a video on the micro-blogging site Twitter where Rohit can be seen practicing against the white ball. The star batter from India will look to bat well in the matches and lead his side to a series victory.

India and Three Lions will play a three-match T20I series followed by the same number of 50-over encounters. The first T20I match will be played on July 7 (Thursday) while the 50-over series will start on July 12 (Tuesday). The Men in Blue recently defeated Northamptonshire in a warm-up game by ten runs.
The visitors were in a spot of bother after the home team took wickets at the start of the Indian innings. However, Harshal Patel showed his batting qualities and stroked an excellent fifty. Skipper Dinesh Karthik also played a decent knock of 34 runs as the Men in Blue posted 149 runs in their allotted 20 overs.
Several Northants batters got a start in their innings, but none of them could manage to convert it to a match-winning score. After doing wonders for India with the bat, Harshal also scalped two wickets for his side. Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan, and Yuzvendra Chahal also got two wickets each.
