England vs New Zealand Head to Head record in T20Is and T20 World Cup
England have dominated the Blackcaps in terms of head-to-head record in T20Is.
Memories will be refreshed when England and New Zealand will lock horns in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2021. The encounter takes place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (November 10). Drama, pressure, and high-voltage action were at their peak when these two sides last met in an ICC event – the 2019 World Cup final.
It was England who emerged victorious in that highly-controversial game. Looking at the on-paper strength of both teams, England would take the field as favorites even for this game. However, New Zealand somehow know what’s required to thrive in ICC event. Hence, another fascinating contest is on the cards.
Head to Head record:
England have dominated the Blackcaps in terms of head-to-head record in T20Is. These two teams have played 21 T20I matches so far. Out of which 13 have been won by the Three Lions while New Zealand have won seven games. One of their clashes got washed out due to rain. As far as T20 World Cups are concerned, these two teams have five times and the head-to-head record stands 3-2 in England’s favour.
