Erin Holland opens up on a difficult year after her wedding with Ben Cutting was postponed due to pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the entire world this year. People from all the sections of the society have been hit hard by the pandemic and Ben Cutting and his fiancée Erin Holland are not an exception either. The love birds had planned to tie the knot this year but have been forced to shelve their plan due to COVID-19.

Erin and Ben got engaged in September last year and had planned to get married in 2020. The couple will now have to wait and see which date is best for 2021. The model-turned-presenter, who recently paid over $1.2million for a two-bedroom apartment in Sydney with Ben, said that it had been a ‘difficult’ year for them as a couple.

“It’s been really difficult. I had that period where we were all in lockdown and it kind of felt that we were in it together and I was with Ben and I came back from working overseas. That time together was lovely, we never ever spent more than a couple of weeks in a row together. Rescheduling the wedding twice now has not been fun. It’s been quite a stress and the longer it goes on, the harder it is to get your head around,” Erin was quoted as saying to Daily Mail Australia.

It’s not the most important thing, says Erin

Erin Holland further stated that her wedding is not the most important thing in the current scenario. At the same time, she also expressed her disappointment over things not going the way she and Ben Cutting had planned wholeheartedly. Erin said that it’s tough to reschedule their wedding due to Ben’s cricketing commitments.

“I know in the scheme of things, it’s not the most important thing, but for something like that, you have your heart set on it. And for us, our schedules change so quickly, we don’t know if Ben will even be available for certain dates,” said Erin Holland.

Meanwhile, Ben Cutting will return to action soon in the upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL). The allrounder is gearing up for a new journey in Australia’s premier T20 tournament. In September this year, he ended his nine-year association with Brisbane Heat to move to Sydney Thunder on a two-year deal.
