Mandeep Singh’s father is a well-known athletics coach in Jalandhar. He was initially not very happy with his son’s cricketing ambition but was later satisfied when saw his potential in the sport.

Mandeep has represented India A, India Under-19s, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, North Zone, Punjab, Punjab Under-19s and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
4. Domestic delights:
He made his domestic debut for Punjab in the year 2010 against Himachal Pradesh. In 56 matches, Mandeep has scored 3670 runs at an average of 44.21 along with 16 half centuries and 10 centuries. In 66 List A career matches, the batsman notched up 2012 runs.

Mandeep was named India’s vice-captain for the 2010 Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand
