Leicestershire had a forgettable season as they have won only 2 out of their 13 games. They squared off against Derbyshire in their previous match where they faced a defeat by 71 runs. Derbyshire posted 231-4 on the board with Thomas Wood scoring 110*(57) and Harry Came's 56(36). Skipper Leus Du Plooy's 30(15) helped them to post a mammoth total of 231-4. While Chasing 232 Leicestershire bundled out for 160. Skipper Peter Handscomb top-scored with 61 off 43. Wiaan Mulder also scored 35(23). Nobody except them scored big. Pacer Zaman Khan scalped 3 wickets. Whereas Zak Chappell and George Scrimshaw grabbed 2 wickets. So, Leicestershire will look to end the tournament on a high note with a win.
