Pakistan and South Africa will play the 36th game of the T20 World Cup 2022 at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney on Thursday (November 3). Pakistan have managed to win one out of three matches so far in the Super 12 stage and are placed in the fourth position in the points tally. Pakistan are scheduled to play two more matches including a game against Bangladesh on Sunday. They need to win both these matches to have a chance to qualify for the semi-final stage.

South Africa, on the other hand, are placed in the first position in the points tally and a win in this game will help them seal their position in the next stage. The Proteas have defeated Bangladesh and India so far by a decent margin and have been in great form with both bat and ball. Both teams last played a bilateral series against each other in April last year which Pakistan won by a margin of 3-1.

Here are 3 players you can avoid in your Dream11 fantasy teams for the PAK vs SA game:

1. Babar Azam

The captain of the Pakistan team is yet to make a double-digit score in the tournament and has scored just 29 runs in his last five outings for Pakistan. He is one of the most talented batters of the current generation, however, he has been the same in the last couple of months. In the last ten innings this year, he has faced over 30 deliveries only thrice.

2. Temba Bavuma

Pakistan and South Africa have one thing in common in this tournament, the captain of both sides has failed to contribute to the team with the bat. Bavuma has never scored over 300 runs in a year for South Africa in T20Is since making his debut in 2019. In ten innings this year, he has made 78 runs at an average of 9.75 and a strike rate of 77.22.

3. Shaheen Afridi

The left-arm pacer failed to pick a wicket in the first two matches of the tournament. He managed to pick his first wicket in the last game against the Netherlands when he finished with 19 runs for one wicket in four overs. Afridi has not been the same bowler since recovering from the knee injury that he sustained in July this year.
