Five Emerging Indian talents so far in IPL 10
The current IPL too, like its predecessors has left the door open for the young talents to grab their opportunities with both hands.
2) Krunal Pandya- Mumbai Indians (All-rounder)
The 26-year-old all-rounder from Ahmedabad has many records under his name in this brief career with the Mumbai Indians. Mumbai Indian’s management was quick-witted in whisking the talented all-rounder away from the other owners.
By the time the all-rounder had featured for the side, his brother had already been a household name, thanks to his consistent performance in the previous IPL.
The prospect of seeing two brothers in the same IPL team was a rare one, albeit not impossible. The brothers went from the strength to strength, with Krunal grabbing all the opportunities that came his way. Krunal, who was the older of the two brothers bowled left-arm spin and batted at the top of the order for Baroda in the domestic arena.
Krunal Pandya is one of the only bowlers to have scalped AB de Villiers three times in the span of two seasons for any side. The variety that the left-arm spinner carries in his arsenal is just plenty. The all-rounder has scalped four wickets giving away 96 runs in the tournament while scoring 88 runs at an average of 29.33.
