After putting into bat by Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Punjab got bowled out for just 138 as only Hussey and Gurkreet contributing to the scores with 41 and 31 respectively.
In chase of 139, the CSK openers went off to a flyer as they batted flawlessly. Murali Vijay scored a run a ball 50 whereas Mike Hussey scored a 54-ball 87 as CSK finished the game without any loss in 17.2 overs.

After Royal Challengers Bangalore put the Delhi Daredevils into bat, the hosts failed to get their innings going well with all the RCB bowlers chipping in with wickets. Especially Aaron and Starc ran through the DD line up as who could post 95 on the scoreboard thanks to a 27 from Mayank and a 33 from Kedar.
In reply to DD’s 95, the RCB openers Gayle and Kohli didn’t waste time with Gayle striking the ball well from the first over. Gayle scored a 62 in just 40 balls with Kohli supporting him with a 35 as the RCB chased down the target in 10.3 overs with 10 wickets in hand to become the first IPL team to record 10 wickets victory, twice.
