Virat Kohli is known as the run machine of India, who had a mind-wobbling year. He led India from the front and helped his side in winning back to back series. In the year 2019, he muscled 1377 runs at an average of 59.86 with five tons and seven half-centuries in 26 games.
On the other hand, in the longer format, he mustered 612 runs in eight games on a brilliant average of 68 with 2 tons and as many half-centuries. Also, he led India across all the formats winning series against South Africa, West Indies and Bangladesh.
Netizen flaunts fake messages on social media over Virat Kohli
In context over the same, a netizen took to the social media and urged everyone to call on a number 8866288662, if they want Virat Kohli to be nominated as the cricketer of the year. But, the surprising fact about the above-mentioned number is that it was the same that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) introduced as a part of their campaign and had asked the citizens of the country to give a miss call over that in order to show their support for the latest Citizenship Amendment Act that was passed by the government.
Prior to that, some people posted a fake message as they claimed that if anyone calls on that number then they will get a free subscription from Netflix. Later on, Netflix took to their Twitter handle and posted a message to make people aware that there were no such offers for getting free access to all their visual contents.
CAA saw some amendments in its policy that was passed by Parliament. It had certainly come into the spotlight as the protest had broken out over the same. Many high profile individuals and politicians came out with different opinions but there is yet to be a decision taken over Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 by the government.
