The chairman of Mahindra Group, a Mumbai-based business conglomerate, Anand Mahindra came up with a special tweet after that game between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings to laud the efforts of MS Dhoni. The 40-year-old has been in good touch this season despite the results haven’t come in the favour of the Chennai Super Kings. Against MI, he finished with an unbeaten 28 off just 13 balls after coming into bat at number seven. CSK needed 17 off the last over from Jaydev Unadkat and Dhoni brought it down to four needed off the last delivery. In the end, he managed to find the boundary off the last ball and got his side home in style.
While many cricketers and experts around the world were quite stunned by the knock from Dhoni, Star Sports had also tweeted about the way Dhoni finished the game in a close encounter. Anand Mahindra responded to Star Sports’ tweet reminding the fans how delighted he is to have Mahi in ‘Mahindra’.
“Well, all I can say is that I’m glad we have the letters MAHI in Mahi-ndra! #MSDhoni Awesome finish,” Anand Mahindra tweeted.
