Hardik Pandya spends some quality time with MS Dhoni and Sakshi

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya spent some quality time catching up with former India captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi. Pandya had his sister-in-law and Krunal Pandya‘s wife Pankhuri for the company. The four were seen at a five-star hotel in Mumbai.

Pandya sustained an acute back injury during the Asia Cup, which ruled him out of the rest of the tournament. He was replaced by Ravindra Jadeja in the side. India eventually won the Asia Cup after defeating Bangladesh in a thrilling contest that went down to the final ball.

Hardik Pandya posted a group picture on his official Twitter handle on Wednesday night with a caption that read, “About last night. So good to see them #friendslikefamily @krunalpandya_official we missed you.”

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni is off duty as India are taking on the Windies in a two-match Test series. Dhoni retired from Test cricket in late 2014, and now dons the gloves for the Men in Blue in the one-dayers and T20Is.

However, MSD has kept himself busy during his break from cricket. He was recently seen playing in a charity football match along with celebrities which included the likes of actor Priyanka Chopra’s fiance Nick Jonas, actor Ishan Khatter and Dino Morea, among others.

After the two Tests against the Windies, India are scheduled to play the same opposition in five ODIs and three T20Is. While MS Dhoni is likely to be back in the dressing room for both the series, there is no clarification as to whether Hardik Pandya is fit enough to play both series.

India will also be hoping for Pandya is in good match fitness ahead of their important tour to Australia which begins in November this year. They will take on the Aussies in three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs.
