Hasin Jahan duped me regarding first wedding says Mohammed Shami

The Hasin Jahan-Mohammed Shami story has turned murkier with new revelations coming to the fore. Jahan has constantly hurled allegations at Shami, accusing him of extra-marital affairs, match-fixing scandals, and domestic violence. While Jahan has stood his ground throughout, Shami has dismissed all charges and has pleaded to be not guilty.

Following the allegations, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has withheld Shami’s annual contract. Moreover, his participation in the Indian Premier League is also under the clouds. Recently, the Indian cricketer revealed that Jahan misled him and entered wrong information while tying the knots in a recent interaction with the media.

The revelations by Shami

“She says I was aware of her previous wedding when we got married. The truth is that she ticked the ‘bachelor’ box in our marriage certificate form. That form is stamped and registered, so one can’t deny it. Secondly, the daughter’s thing was a big deal for me. Even so, I gave them the love that even a real father wouldn’t. All their shopping and expenses, I took care of everything. Even they might’ve realized that they wouldn’t have got all that in their own house too,” Shami was quoted as saying by ABP News.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami has urged the BCCI to do a thorough investigation on the matter and churn out the results at the earliest. “I want only one support from the BCCI. They should have a proper inquiry into the matter, thoroughly check all the details. It will be better for me that the BCCI get all the inquiries done as quickly as possible because all my practice and workout has stopped. I hope this matter is sorted out quickly so that I resume my cricketing duties,” he added.
