India’s latest batting sensation Shubman Gill has caught everyone’s attention with his supremely elegant batting and timing. The 21-year-old was handed his Test debut during India’s tour to Australia and he quickly showed to the world why he is rated so highly among his peers. In the last Test in Brisbane, Gill blazed his way to 91 to set up victory for India.
Apart from being a good batter, the 21-year-old is also known for his good looks and style. Gill has become an instant hit among the youth, especially the girls due to his charming personality. He keeps his fans entertained by posting pictures of him and his family.
Naturally with such success and fan following at a young age, everyone wants to know if he is single or he is committed. During a Q & A session on his Instagram stories, a fan was curious to know whether the India opener is single. Gill had a cheeky response to the same.
“Oh yes! I am. I have no plans of cloning myself in the near future, either.”

The 21-year-old has often been linked to Sara Tendulkar, daughter of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Over a year or two, the duo have often kept the fans guessing as the two might be in a relationship due to their posts on social media handles. Recently, Sara was seen appreciating Gill’s fielding efforts during an IPL match.
In January, Gill and Sara shared a post with the same caption on their social media accounts. Both wrote “I spy” with an eye emoji on their posts, sending social media into a frenzy.
After a dismal IPL season with Kolkata Knight Riders, Gill is now focusing his attention on the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final (WTC) against New Zealand and the subsequent five-match Test series against England slated to begin from July. The 21-year-old will look to continue his good red-ball form and will hope to provide team India brisk starts upfront with Rohit Sharma.
His attacking and fearless approach might put pressure on New Zealand, who take on India in the marquee clash on June 18.
