The Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has named their former player, Narender Pal Singh as the team’s bowling coach for the upcoming season. The bowling coach will be working along with the Hyderabad’s newly appointed head coach, J Arunkumar. During the previous season, Bharat Arun worked as a head coach and also a bowling coach. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appointed him as the bowling coach of the national team which left a void in the Hyderabad team’s support staff.

Ambati Rayudu, who was a former teammate of Narender, will captain Hyderabad this year.

Anirudh Singh represented Hyderabad in the 2000s and also led the team. He and Rayudu were among the names from Hyderabad who featured in the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) but returned after BCCI’s offer in 2009.
